About meI am currently a Research Associate at the School of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Adelaide. My current research is using Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) control techniques for the robust control of a scramjet powered hypersonic vehicle. My research interests are in robust LPV control, embedded control, and the production of nice looking documents. LinksOne of my biggest time wasters during my PhD was the development of matlabfrag, a Matlab script to export Matlab figures to .tex and .eps files, which use psfrag to do text replacement in a LaTeX document, so that the figure text matches that in the document. Matlabfrag development has been moved to GitHub, where I am preparing for a v0.7 release. In order to use psfrag substitution in pdfLaTeX documents, I recommend the package pstool. Pstool allows for the trasparent conversion of eps files to pdf with psfrag text replacement. Other LaTeX packages such as pst-pdf can do the same thing, however they process every image during every compilation, which adds significantly to the compilation time. Pstool on the other hand only processes modified images, hence drastically reducing compilation time.
In the past I have contributed to Frank Wornle's Real-Time Metrowerks Codewarrior Simulink
target for the HCS12 family of microcontrollers. An older version can be found
here, but
Frank is continuing development on Sourceforge. Other smaller files that I've written can be found here. |
